Description

Cordyline australis are generally grown as feature focal points in containers or borders, their evergreen leaves provide interest throughout the year. 
This palm has wide appeal, although native to New Zealand, it can often be spotted in the Southern Half of Europe as well as the South Coast of England, especially in the Torbay area of Devon.  
Whats more they make excellent large indoor plants for foyers and offices where there is good warmth and light. 
 They are quite hardy and can cope with temperatures down to €“7°C (20°F)
This species grows surprisingly well from seed. It grows in all soils and situations.
